Fantastic Beasts and How to Slay Them: Demiguise

So on my trek through Fantastic Beasts, making them into D&D monsters, I missed one. Weirdly, the one I missed is a beast that can turn invisible and can avoid being captured because it can see the future.

But I finally caught them.

Demiguise

There’s some great ways to use these precognitive monkeys. A friendly, trusting Demiguise might be a guide through a dangerous landscape. Alternatively, items around the heroes’ camp might start going missing, and the group has to track the Demiguise to recover what was lost. The easy option is a side quest where the adventurers are tasked with capturing one of these sneaky fellows.

I for one would love a Demiguise as a companion. Either as a helpful friend to my adventurer, or in real life.

Thank You For Reading

Demiguise has joined his proper place amongst the other Dungeons & Dragons stat blocks I’ve made. You can find the rest here.
